Water Damage – Matteson Hotel
Water damage at this Matteson hotel was due to a fire suppressant system failure during the night. A great deal of water was deposited on the floor when a connection between a water pipe and a sprinkler head broke. SERVPRO was called on an emergency basis in the middle of the night. Management met us at the site and expressed their hope that the room would be cleared of water and dry by for lunch the next day. We said we would do our best and dove in to clean up the water. We quickly removed the water with commercial water extraction equipment and then set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to speed the drying process. The room was ready for lunch.
